The alligator clips are cheaply made and teeth are not grabby enough. The inline connection is same as other charging units, so can mix with other charge ends. Overall, pleased with product. The voltage reading and battery capacity meter is inaccurate. It only charges my Lipo-4 battery up to 14.2 volts. Full charge voltage for this battery is 14.6 volts. I have been using this charger on an off for about three years now to charge car and motorcycle batteries after prolong inactivity as well as charging and "revitalizing" UPS battedries. The charger works realizably whenever I use it, which all together over this time happened around 10-15 times. Thus far, no complaints - works as expected.

Two months after I bought it, I was topping off a 12v battery and the charger died. Several hours later The charger started flashing the fault and power button lights. I unplugged it for a bit and plugged it back in without attaching to the battery and still flashing both power and fault. Dead.

I am using this charger for a 12v lifepo4 battery.Everything seems to work as expected. It beeps when you plug it in and when you unplug it. It will remember the last setting that was used.Ring terminals seem to be for an m8 or 5/16" bolt.It gets a little warm but you can still hold it and it is better than needing a fan.

Used this to charge different 12v batteries. It saved one I was going to throw away using the desulfurization mode. This seems to be for charging and not for long term trickle charging.

I’ll start by saying that I took data on this charger so understand it pretty well. It does a constant current charge until mid 13V’s, then tapers current as it goes up to about 14.3v, after which it cuts to a float. Fine enough for a cheap charger. Not a lot special to the intelligent features or charge profile, but it works.

Works for both lifepo4 and conventional batteries. The desulfinating stage brings tired batteries back to life. That's my feedback!
