Great value for the heat you need

These two sets of heat lamps are perfect for giving my snake the extra warmth it needs without using a dangerous heating mat must. We use them at night with a separate night lamp, which doesn't generate much heat, so a little more is needed for a large cage. They work great and are great value for money.

Ceramic Light Bulbs - Heat Lamps and Terrarium Mats

Excellent quality ceramic heat lamp. I decided to use these instead of regular flower bulbs for my chickens this year. I feel they are safer and generate enough heat to keep the hens cozy. I don't have to worry about broken lightbulbs. The feel of ceramic is far more important than that of a traditional lightbulb. This comes with a set of 2 and keeps the fluffy balls warm.

Good business! Birdy agrees.

This is a great deal for the price! Considering it comes with two separate bulbs, they cost around $5, which isn't too bad if you're ordering online. I use them for my bearded dragon tank. Our house is very cold at night, so it is sometimes necessary to provide extra heat at night to keep it from freezing, as reptiles cannot regulate their own temperature. These types of ceramic heaters are the best because they don't emit any light that could keep your reptile awake and disrupt its sleep…

  • Long life
Cons
  • Reliability

The bulb has already died in two days

Can't say I liked these bulbs right away. I thought they were a good idea but once they arrived I realized that without a light you can't tell if they work or not without putting your hand under them. Anyway, I've used one of the bulbs (there were 2 in the box) literally half a dozen times for short periods when syringe feeding a newborn squirrel. You need to stay warm to digest the formula, so I figured an onion would be a great way to do that. Well, the first lightbulb has already stopped…
