🔧 MSD 84661 Magnetic Pickup Assembly: Reliable Performance and Easy Installation Review

Solved a serious problem with my car. The original slowly deteriorated, causing creases and spatters. Replacing that bad boy solved all my problems.

I purchased this part to replace a sensor coil in a customer supplied MSD manifold that was not working properly. On the dyno, the engine had misfires that got worse as the engine temperature increased. This new pickup coil solved the problem. Installation was also very easy.

Easy to fix my suddenly broken Jeep. Tools needed: 11/32 open end wrench, 1/8 allen wrench and Phillips screwdriver. If you have a vacuum feed you will need to remove the entire manifold, knock out the pin from the bottom and slide the shaft out from the top to access it. Tag your belongings prior to disassembly and expect a rough ride back until you get the timing right.
