The build quality is what you would expect from a product at this price point.

If you're expecting the same high quality KVM construction at 2 or 3 times the price, you'll be disappointed. But if you (like me) want a KVM with an 8-port switch that you only use every two months for onsite service at your collocation site, the value for money is hard to beat.

If you're expecting the same build quality for a KVM that's 2 or 3 times the price, you'll be disappointed . But if you (like me) want a KVM with an 8-port switch that you only use every two months for onsite service at your collocation site, the value for money is hard to beat.

Not really 1U, weak rails, but it works.

First, KVM and console are fine. But the rackmount solution leaves a lot to be desired. Most importantly, it doesn't fit in a 1U space. There are several flanges on the bottom of the bays that protrude about 5/8 inch below the 1U slot limits. This means that if, like me, you left a 1U space under your servers to install this device, you would be extremely frustrated and would have to move your servers to a higher slot. Good monitor and works great

Very easy to assemble and install. Having a set of cables for each device you want to add to the KVM is really great and keeps the rack clean and tidy. The 1U size is ideal for minimizing rack space. I would buy it again if needed.
