Item arrived with a manufacture date of 2 years ago and the unit has a 5 year lifespan. 40% of my usage time has already expired. UPDATE: MTI was unwilling to process a full refund for this item despite being old stock and have not provided an explanation.

Fantastic! I had a production date just a few months before my order date. This was a replacement for my Winnebago View, although I had to cut out the old one and crimp this onto the wires as the Winnebago seems to add a quick connection, but this one comes with bare pigtails.

My Winnebago View was only 5 years old when my propane alarm started to fail. I received this LP/CO to replace the factory original. It fit into the original wall cutout and the entire installation only took about 15 minutes. Works well. I later read that these things should be changed every 3-5 years. I've considered not replacing the failed unit, but for security reasons, it's too important to ignore.

I had one of these in my RV and it broke. I figured the easiest way to fix this is to buy the exact same thing and install it. It LOOKS like the old one but it's a bit smaller so the hole in the camper wall is too big and I couldn't just stick it in and use the same screw holes, I had to make a new frame to connect the old hole to the smaller one Block. What could have been a five-minute machine change became half an hour of woodwork.

I need a wired LP/CO detector for my caravan. I found this online and the price for Revain was better than anywhere else and other brands. Installation was very easy. Just cut a hole, screw it in and connect the wires. One note is that this device takes quite a long time to "warm up". That's about ten minutes after the first power connection. Ensure that you do not connect the power supply and immediately start using devices to ensure that the device is fully switched on for precise protection.

The detector is a must. I think it's even a legal requirement in RVs. Mine started beeping regularly a while ago (and always at 2am). I removed the old one, took the model number from it and ordered another one. Interestingly the sticker on the back said they needed to be replaced every 5 years (this one had just over 5 years) right? Easy to connect, just match wire to wire. If I have any complaints it is that this item is a little pricey but is necessary for safety reasons.

After reading some reviews about the white printer I chose this one mainly because of the contrasting color of the printed instructions.
