As a new buyer, I was disappointed with the quality of this Industrial and Scientific Workholding tool. As my tests showed, the adjustability feature was clunky and difficult to use, making it impossible to get the precise measurements I needed. The only redeeming quality was the durable wood construction, but that's not enough to justify the high price tag. Save your money and invest in a better quality brand.

Really liked these clamps, perfect for a variety of jobs. Different wood thickness. Holds things while drilling and gluing. The only problem is that the spring in them is very tight. I'm pretty strong, but still sometimes I had to use two hands. This is both bad and good. This is good because it means they keep the wood stuck where you want it. Bad because it can be a little awkward to open the clip just enough to use it. Now they stay in my tool box.

This can only be a user problem. But I found these rectangular clips very difficult to use. The tension must be strong with such products, but goes far beyond that. Since the clamps are not very large, SUCH high tension makes them very difficult to use. And while this may be obvious to most, I was surprised at how limited the size of the items you use them on can be. I just couldn't do it.
