We have 3 cats - a 3 year old large boy (15 lbs), an 11 month old (7 lbs) and a 12 week old kitten. Our kitten is the only one who can comfortably sit and play on it. My big friend doesn't even come close to him. For those who have extra loose change in their pockets and want to spoil their new baby, this is perfect. Just know that they will outgrow it before they are a year old. Our older cat can barely fit in it, and if it does, it won't be for much longer. Four paws from a new kitten.

It all adds up to a pretty solid party. However, it was quite difficult to combine. There seems to be too much paint on the link ends. You have to work really hard to line up the holes and if you overdo it, good luck with the gap. Once that was done, it was pretty easy. This will take additional time if you have cat helpers. As another reviewer noted, assembly is not very easy. You have 4 round bit halves and you need to insert one half into the other half. Twice. It turns out this is the hardest part. You must align and insert the bits together, not on one side. Since the screws go through them to hold them together, they really shouldn't be that tight.
