🐠 Munchkin Fishin' Bathtime Toy Review

Bought this for my son to play with in the paddling pool in the summer and he loves it. I'm taking off a star because it requires some coordination. You need to hold the rod fairly still for the magnet to hook onto the fishing items to pick them up. He couldn't until recently (now 17 months old). He also has trouble spinning the spool and is frustrated.

This is our second 'fishing' toy and it's perfect. We keep one in our beach bag for our trips to the pool and one in the bath. This toy is extremely durable and will not suffer from mold like many other bath toys. Not only do I endorse its durability and cleanliness, but my kids (1-1/2 and ) love it! They love clicking the drum, catching toys and throwing them back to catch them again!

This thing is like a medieval weapon that I regret buying. Look at the flail and it's the same lol. My daughter waves this thing, it hit me and she did too. I don't understand why the ball part has to be so heavy and hard! I hid it several times but in the end she found it. I think the next step is to throw it away but I feel bad because she loves it. Now that we have another baby, I definitely don't think she can leave him. Oh, and it holds water, so here's the thing.

This is a great bath toy for those worried about mold. And it's just fun for the kids. It is not difficult to tie a fish to the rod, but the younger it is, the more difficult it is due to the coordination required. My almost 4 year old has no problems and mine just turned 2, it's a bit more complicated. But even when they're not fishing, they enjoy playing with the little characters. For a while I argued between this set and several others that had working reels and lines. As my children are only 1 and 2 years old I ended up going for these as I knew they would be better quality and last longer for younger children. I think I made the right decision.
