Misrepresented for interior

I bought these because they said they would work on my car and could be programmed. nope My car needs to be programmed at the dealer and they won't even try to program as they won't work. Waste of money buying and cutting.

One of my best purchases!

These blocks came in the kit but I took them apart, put my old key in and changed the chip and voila! I apparently had 2 new keychains for a very low price. It works perfectly! The outer knobs and spring were broken/worn on my originals. I think you can program them if you want!

Kind of work, trunk/sunroof release button not working for my 2003 Jetta wagon

I bought 2 and had a Ford dealer cut them for $39 each, the transponders were recognized by my 2003 Jetta and properly programmed. I can't get the trunk/hatch opening to work on key fobs, but I'm looking for a solution. There may be a solution that I haven't found, but plenty else.

Can't program for Passat 2004

Metal key work. There is no safety chip for the ignition, so the car starts but goes into "shutdown mode" and shuts down within a minute. I tried programming the keys myself, the car beeped like it worked, but these remotes don't work after the process. I didn't go to the retailer to see if they accepted the program. I wish you success.

You get what you pay for, they work great

Delivered very quickly, anyone ordering VW keys already knows or should know that programming for a security system is not easy unless you have an existing programmed key. These replacement key fobs are cheap compared to OEM and other premium aftermarket products, but that's what you get, cheap. They work but are made of cheap materials. You get what you pay for, buy well, your funds are limited, if you can afford the best you will get better. Great buy for the price.

I figured I'd have to go to the dealer to get them programmed. Not so. read review.

I have 2 VW Beetles and needed a spare key for each one. I bought these 2 packs after asking a local locksmith how to cut them. ($35 each) My locksmith was able to cut them but said he couldn't program them. I searched online and found some instructions but the keys didn't support the car after I started the car. 2002 VW GTI on Interior

My original remote (three button remote/don't panic) had the lock/unlock/trunk buttons completely destroyed as I've been using my 2002 GTI every 10 seconds over the past few years .
