🐾 Muttluks Snow Mushers: Rubber-Soled Winter Dog Boots for Cold Weather Review

We have been using muttkuks since our dog was a puppy - 7 years. We buy 2 different sizes for front paws and hind paws. They snap securely into place when you cross the velcro strap while wrapping the paw in the boot. Wouldn't buy anything else.

Once you get the right size for your dog, which does the trick, these boots are a great choice. Dry feet, easy to hand wash ankle boots dry quickly overnight on the heating register. Our dog can play longer because she no longer gets snowballs stuck between her toes.

Bought these for my black lab. They appear to be very well built but after only 2 months of use the bottom rubber part of the boot traction is falling off the top part of the boot. It is very similar to the fact that the sole of the shoe begins to fall off the toe. I have checked the MuttLuks FAQ and the return policy is for unused boots only. I love the boots and my dog got used to them quickly but when they fall apart every few months it's not worth the price.

They stay on my dog and because of the rubber bottom he doesn't wear holes in them like Mutluk's fleece lined boots. I wish I had tried this years ago. I am ordering 4 more to have on hand just in case. But so far he's been using them for about a month and the old ones went out when he tugged on the leash. They stay. and keep your feet dry. As a liner, I use socks underneath. I love these boots.
