The cap is one (perhaps only) weak point of a Nalgene bottle. After 23 years of almost daily use, the plastic clasp on the lid has broken off. Quick and easy replacement and I look forward to another 20 years of use.

My Nalgen bottles broke in the dishwasher, causing the caps to melt. Journey to Revan. They work well with Nalgene bottles, they seal well and don't leak. The plastic ring feels a little flimsy but it didn't break, I use my bottles every day.

This cap is a basic cap, but when you need it, you need it. He does his job for me and he arrived quickly. I would like to warn you to be careful when opening your envelope as the ring can easily be damaged with scissors like I did with my first one. The company was understanding and replaced it even though it was entirely my fault. I give 5 stars for friendly and helpful customer service.
