Very efficient and environmentally friendly. The texture takes a little getting used to, but I'm really glad I made the switch.

My wife likes them. They don't smell and I feel more comfortable because it's also a compost sponge. She, it's very soft on dishes, I wouldn't recommend much on pots and pans.

Update update. I previously gave 5 stars. This new batch is like a completely different product. The lips are twice as thin as the previous ones. I don't think it's a natural variation as the angles are different too ie. it is assumed that they have deliberately modified the product. I'll probably take the loss (sort of) but won't buy this brand again. I took a picture with my phone, I'll try to post it later.

These sponges are a great alternative to plastic/polymer dishwashing sponges. I cut the sponges in half to fit my small hands, effectively doubling the amount of sponges I get for the price. When the sponge reaches the end of its useful life, I throw it in the compost. The sponge itself is soft and light on glass; However, I have to use something else to clean cast iron and stainless steel cookware. The sponge is too soft for washing dishes, but it does a great job for general cleaning.

Loofah shouldn't get moldy as it's a herbal product so I'm so glad I found these sponges and saw how they work. So far they are doing an excellent cleaning job and only time will tell if they will withstand the mildew effect. No matter how well I rinsed and wrung regular cleaning sponges, they kept getting moldy long before they'd exhausted their effectiveness. When dry, they feel a bit bulky - maybe too wide to fit comfortably in your hand. -- but they soften once they get wet, and that's not…
