Lots of complaints about oil, but oil is the way to go because it moisturizes your skin. I bought three of these and tried the activated charcoal first. The scent was great and the amount of oil is amazing because after you towel dry it is the oil that leaves your skin supple and soft and stays that way for weeks. This is nothing more than a salt scrub you can get from Lush or anyone else. There's something like salt in it, but it's suspended in a thick, greasy sediment that won't wash off. It's the consistency of Vaseline sand, so spend more time washing the thick layer of oil off your face after use.

This is my husband's favorite exfoliator. Since I'm addicted to waxing, he needs a good exfoliation. This is the best we've tried so far. The smell is pleasant and the salt is thick so it gives a good scrub. The only complaint I would like to make is that removing the charcoal is sometimes difficult, but honestly, taking the stars off is not a good idea.
