The screen is terrible - no black, lots of light. Bad build quality too.

This portable Blu-ray/DVD player was more expensive than many of the high end monitors I've used so I was hoping it would have a decent screen. It's not like this. The screen just doesn't display black, it's all medium grey, I haven't seen a screen that can't display black in decades. A bit of a learning curve, but overall not bad!

I was about to return this item to Revain for a refund. He acted in three films and then quit halfway through the third. With every disc I put in there, the player just squeaked beep-beep and did nothing else. The troubleshooting guide did not help. Googling didn't help. I checked the reader, cleaned the lens. I turned it off and on again, put the drive back in and got an "unknown drive" error. OK. The problem is that the player had a low battery. I connected it to my laptop cable, not my own…

Features are packed, but some are half-baked. It's good when you know what you're getting yourself into.

It looks like this thing can do it all, but it's not entirely true. It has a ton of features and flexible use cases, but they all have minor flaws and issues that you should be aware of. So many features actually make it difficult to decide where to start. Firstly, the device itself has a lot more logos than shown in the picture, which is quite a shame. It's more than just the Blu-Ray logo, it also has DVD, DTS, Dolby Audio, HDMI and a large Naviskauto logo on the back corner. As advertised…
