Great product, works as advertised

I bought this product to replace a previous model. This is exactly what I needed. As a professional photographer, it is ideal for off-camera flash use. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Remote shutter release
Cons
  • Negative experience

An effective and inexpensive option

After several months of shooting, these triggers work without any problems in almost all situations. I've only encountered one communication issue, possibly related to line issues (indoors, in a metal room). Recommended for a basic set of triggers that won't break the bank.

Pros
  • Camera and photo
Cons
  • Almost everything included

The VC version works well with t3i.

I could not get an answer what is the difference between the FC and VC models, both are Canon brands. Lots of good reviews about FC so I decided to try VC. Worked as expected with t3i and 430exII Some other things to clarify for those who may not be familiar: They have two functions: remote flash trigger and camera trigger. The camera's hot shoe is used to trigger the flash, not the cord (in most cases). You can then connect the high speed flash directly to the receiver shoe or use a PC cable…

  • Electronics

The only option to pair with VC-818TX

Let me first say that if you are looking for a solution to setup and easily trigger an external flash, this product is a great solution. The combination is very reliable and relatively inexpensive. However, this was not the problem I was trying to solve. I have a couple of Vision 5 flashes (they are great!) and another studio flash that I had to add to the setup script. I wanted to control/start the setup from my camera's Vision 5s VC-818TX transmitter. The VC-16RX from this VC-16 kit allowed…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
