    Shot in the garden for 3 hours to confirm this product is what I was looking for. Works as designed smooth rolling and rotating the camera.

    Just buy it when you need it

    I have a buddy with one of these. He paid about $800 for his. It is almost no different from Neewer. Perhaps a little quieter and with a little more cosmetic flair, but like many electronic devices, you pay for the name. This is a much better way.

    Only suitable for dolly movements.

    Accessible slider. As long as you don't use the panning feature to rotate around something, you can achieve nice, smooth movements. I replaced my first one because it wasn't moving smoothly. The second is no better. Push ins and outs or carriage moves look great. Update December 2020 - Many thanks to the customer support team for doing everything they can to make this right.     No movement best on video

    I was so excited to receive and assemble this product to find that it doesn't even move. I've tried everything, changed batteries, recharged the battery just in case. The remote tells me to move to point a, so I followed the instructions and did it, but no movement, then I said move to your point b, and I did it, but no movement. So I said maybe it shouldn't be movement but it would be weird if it wasn't because at this point I really don't understand where my point a or b is due to the lack of

    Everything is well thought out except for a few areas. Tracking video mechanics are rubbish. The method they use is useless for a professional session. It could work if you put a GoPro on it. But with something the size of a DSLR or camcorder, forget it. He pans and shakes the camera. I unplugged mine and installed a professional ball head mount. With which I manually tracked the video.     This thing is great. I didn't want to spend more than $500 on a slider and did a little research before settling on the 2.4GHz version of Neewer as I didn't want my phone to be tethered to it. Many of the other inexpensive models have relatively high minimum speeds. This one I spotted took 1 hour and 6 minutes to run 18.5 inches at 1% speed settings!     Great quality, one problem

    I wish it had manual controls with motor buttons because I'm afraid of losing the remote but it works great. One problem I have is that you have to remove the motor to fit in the case. I cut out some foam and made some adjustments so I can still run the engine, but it's still not the best solution. However, this works great.     UPDATE: 6/22/21 - Upgraded to 4 stars 3Neewer was kind enough to contact me immediately after reading my first review and offer a free replacement. Stupidly, I threw away the original shipping box, so I had to pay UPS $17 for a box big enough to hold the slider to complete the return/replacement. Anyway, I did some quick and dirty pre-tests and here are my initial thoughts. Freeplay: This still exists, but it's only really a problem if you're manually working "on" the base of the camera.
