Nice looking drain best in my review

The drain arrived as stated and looked great. It was easy to install and level with the levelers. The protective covering made a great buffer to prevent the top of the drain from any scratches or damage in delivery or construction of my shower. I like the easy empty basket that protects the main drain from clogging up with hair. The option of having the surround floor tile used to cover the top of the drain is an added plus. Great Looking Drain!

Looks great but cleaning nightmare

Did not use it yet but it looks awesome. Installer was sure it is a super expensive drain.Update: we started to use it. This is a cleaning nightmare. All hairs are going down and accumulated in a tiny catcher. They are getting slimy and blocking the drain. (No pics of that, too graphic) Yep you have to remove the cover snd clean it. It smells fishy, well, the drain it is, what people do in the showers, it’s understood. So I ended up ordering a separate cover for it, same brand, but without a…

My favorite drain ever

I love how this drain looks. We converted a tub into a wall in shower and we didn’t want to pay for a plumber to move the left-side drain to a center drain. A circle drain would have resulted in odd slopes in the floor because our drain was so close to the wall, but then the contractor showed us pictures of trough drains like this. Hair catcher failed within 4 months

We purchased this linear drain as part of a new bathroom build. Within 4 months of installation the bar that is attached to the top of the basket has completely fallen off.The bar is critical in keeping the basket from falling deep within the drain and also provides something to grab when removing the basket for cleaning.At nearly 17% percent of the original purchase price for the entire drain to buy a replacement basket, I'll be doing my best to solder it back on.

SO upscale, SO easy to keep clean

WOW this drain is cool! Its so modern looking that it became one of the best features of my bathroom remodel. I like that it doesn't have holes you can see the drain itself through and it still functions perfectly. Better than perfectly: I have very long hair and it catches ALL of it, then cleaning it out is so dang easy! The color is not rich or matte black. It’s more like bullet black with a slight shimmer. Other than that, looks great. Haven’t installed it yet

Looks great! for my opinion

Absolutely love this drain! We did a master bathroom remodel it looks sleek and is super easy to clean. You lift out the drain and there’s a little basket that you clean hair out. My Tile guy did a beautiful job installing tile in the top of the drain. We love the way it turned out! The plumber had no complaints on the install so I’m assuming it was fairly straightforward.

I had someone installed it. He didn't have any bad thing to say or any issue putting this thing together. The result looks really good. It brings up the level of my new shower room one notch. Highly recommended.

Worked out great! for my opinion

Worked out great! Our tile guy felt it would have been better if it had an outer rim to help with sealing the edge from water. Tile guy had to make sure the perimeter was grouted really well in order to make sure water wouldn’t escape beret he edge of the drain and the grout / tile.

Excellent shower drain. For a tile shower floor

I used this for my daughters new shower. Worked great and was an easy install. Made the shower look nice and drain more than perfectly. Will be using on any showers i build from now on!

Not Schluter compatible (and how is this drain not getting your subfloor wet?)

Turns out I missed the disclaimer at the end of the product description about not being compatible with the Schluter system, so now I'm buying the correct (and more expensive) Schluter one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PGBT6GP/)But seriously how is this drain not letting water into your subfloor if there isn't any waterproofing membrane?

An affordable gold drain that looks great!

Other brushed-gold drains were so expensive. This drain was much more budget-friendly. It arrived on-time. You can flip the middle tray so it can be solid gold or you can put your own tiles in it. It perfectly matched the older brushed-gold fixtures. It is easy to remove the middle to clean the drain-catch once in a while.

Looks so trendy and beautiful. My contractor installed and it's such a modern look to have it tiled. I like that it has a hair catcher. I haven't had to clean it yet, so we will see how that goes. The top insert peice isn't light.
