This switch allows you to tag a port with multiple VLANs, essentially making it a trunk. Setting up pvid is similar to setting up your own VLAN. but the controls are much more confusing. If you want to do something remotely complex in addition to dummy switching, such as For example, bundling multiple VLANs through a port from another switch, and then splitting them across multiple ports on that switch, just avoid it and save yourself the hassle.
