Very good quality hiker bag with insulated compartment

This is a very strong and durable book bag for a variety of uses. Ideal for hiking and camping. It has a built in 10 liter insulated compartment and a 3 liter water bag. It has an adjustable waste clip that is lighter on the back and allows you to carry a backpack that stays in place on long hikes. Very good material and quality. Great price and value. Highly recommended

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Modern

Premium features in an affordable bag

Love this bag! More than enough space for a day of skiing or hiking. I love the organization on the front pocket. I would have liked a double zip on the front pocket, but other than that there's nothing to complain about. I have used bags from expensive well-known brands from REI and I think this bag easily competes with them. Cycling is expensive so if you are looking for somewhere to save money and still get good quality this is a great option.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Doubt

Grand Canyon Prep

I needed to replace the first fluid bag I started the hike with and chose it based on reviews and was looking for something with a 3 liter bladder. I took it to practice today and I love it. My old backpack with a 1.5 liter bladder was enough for long, hot training/racing days - that's supposed to be great! Plenty of space for snacks and other essentials. The padded shoulder straps were great and loved all the pockets. I wish this model was a bit bigger for a day hike or a weekend hike!

Basically a good little back

This backpack is cute and feels comfortable. I'm 5.11ft and I was happy with how it fit me. Everything was fine with the bladder. I don't like where the water bladder hose attaches. It might be different if someone is smaller, but once I unclipped the straps where I needed them, the clip at the top of my shoulder was way out of reach. Besides, he's weak. I had to constantly re-glue the hose. Space for attached poles was ok. If you are traveling alone, you will need to take your backpack off and

  • Great for a small home

Basically good. Small areas need improvement

Fits well and is designed for a good 12+ mile hike. It's great to have a 3 liter water tank available at an affordable price. Functionally, I give it a good rating. My Complaints: (1) One of the water spout hooks (one on each side) broke easily. It's a small part that can easily be replaced, but the seller (who I believe is also the manufacturer) says they don't have this part. You can't make this product without a part, so it seems a bit iffy. (2) Something other than a long spout must be…

  • Sleek design

Best moisture pack especially for the price

I like this pack. I bought it a few months ago and use it at least once a week, usually 3-4 times a week, mainly for hiking. Its medium size is perfect. Lots of well thought out pockets. I fill it with water and still carry it around: snacks for me and/or the kids, keys, first aid kits, a light jacket when I take it off. There is an open space in the front that is perfect for storing my dog's water bottle and another bottle (usually a baby bottle). There is a whistle on the chest strap - it…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Hydration packs are fine

I expected more. I love that it feels light on the back and I think the sizing is perfect, I just really hated that color, it wasn't very feminine or flattering on me. I'm short and I feel like it makes me look smaller. It's also not great if you travel with it, I think a more compact backpack like the ones that expand and attach to carry-on, handbag or even another backpack is better. I like hiking, but I live in Florida so I have to fly wherever I want. I took it on a snowboard and it held up

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Hydration reservoir fails at critical moment

I bought this hydration pack with 3L reservoir in mid-April to embark on a long trip to the US with multiple visits to the In - and abroad to prepare state parks. Because of the many hikes in hot weather, I needed a reliable source of hydration. Unfortunately this is not the right product. I checked the bladder system at home and everything is fine. However, the bladder did not survive the first test under real conditions. In Canyonlands, Utah, when it was over 100 degrees, two things happened:

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
