Not what I expected. I've flipped halfway through the book and all it does is describe acrylic paints in detail. I don't care what it's made of. I just wanted the book to tell me what acrylic mediums and texturing products to use and what they are good for. The author is very detailed and knowledgeable about the product. But the title of the book and even looking inside made me believe that this is a good book with instructions on how and what to use it for. Not this book.

This book is awesome! Full of information and details on the different techniques you can use with acrylic. This book will really open your eyes to this medium and show you how to create some truly amazing effects. I first saw this book above my friend's house and he loaned it to me. Within hours of reading this, I ordered a copy for myself, as it definitely should. This applies to media, gels, textures, etc. Too many to list. If you are serious about acrylics, I would buy this book!

This is the best book in the Anything Goes series! There are many beautiful and sometimes strange illustrations with different objects, layers and thick materials. It's great for those who want to escape to the dreamy realms! This isn't just flat art. It has buds of creativity with all the wild flowers! With that kind of creativity, nobody could go wrong. I only wanted to write a review because the title doesn't give you much information about what's in the book - I only bought it because I love acrylics and There aren't many books out there on the subject compared to other media.
