I like these NB shoes because they are well constructed. They fit as expected and I can definitely walk and train in these shoes. I chose a larger width to wear thicker socks. I buy NB shoes and this pair has to be one of the best NB shoes. This is just my opinion.

Ugly but comfortable. I am on my feet for more than 8 hours from Monday to Friday and do very physical work. It's been great so far. They are typical of New Balance. Supportive and light. Since I deal with sticky messes all day that sometimes leak, like shampoos, lotions, etc., I am very glad that they are waterproof. I would say they are great for hiking.

I read all the reviews before ordering and I agree with most of the reviews. Looks great, well made, just what I was looking for. They fit the length and run a bit small for wide shoes, but that's not a problem. My two problems are that my heel slipped with every step. And I found them a bit awkward for me - I stumbled a few times. Didn't fall, but I think they're just not a good shoe for me.

I wear New Balance shoes almost exclusively because I have a very wide foot and they are the only brand that makes genuine EE women's shoes. I ordered these in my regular 7.5 EE and they are a lot narrower than my NB trainers or NB hiking shoes. My heel also slipped a lot. It's a shame because I'd love to see waterproof walking/hiking shoes that fill the gap between lightweight running shoes and hiking shoes, but that just doesn't work for me.
