This ribbon will not work for the Remington Model 5 UNLESS YOU REWIND THE RIBBON ONTO YOUR OLD SPOOL.

core/no core? on other office equipment

The picture does not show the core or how to remove it but the picture I received had the core. You should be able to easily remove the kernel by pulling it out (per vendor). I had a problem with it, but the seller responded quickly to my request and provided the information I needed. I recommend! Thanks very much!

Great installed! 1949 Remington Rand

I recently bought a late 1949 Remington Rand to play around with. After watching a few YouTube videos After watching videos and doing a thorough cleaning I was ready for the tape and bought this, it installed easily and I started typing at a fast pace.

Fits typewriters easily and is of good quality

Thank you! I had to laboriously stick the original dispenser on because no other tape would fit on my Remington Rand. But it has a center that just pops out and fits perfectly! Easiest setup I could ever dream of and the ink is crisp and dark. I have already ordered a few more of the same brand for my forge crowns.
