Misleading product information

Dimensions shown are of the box, not the actual product which must match the dressing size. You are very small. 1"/ 2.5'. The photos are also intentionally misleading. They are no larger than a band-aid. Not worth the return time, but the company should state the actual size of the bandage, not the box.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Small bandages, okay. But a good waterproof system.

The bandage - actually the piece of gauze - is about 1/4" wide and about 1" long. Only suitable for the smallest cuts. But the waterproof and adhesive system is good. You just need to define their size more clearly. If they made a bigger size than they can I would take it.

  • Best in its niche

The best waterproof bandages

I work in a restaurant and I will say that when my bartender gave me these to use after I cut myself I resisted a little because I like the looks the pavement during the time hate service let alone getting wet. But these things stick really well, you can literally wash your hands normally and they won't fall off! That's the great thing about them, you can get back to your business as usual and it won't affect the way you work. I don't know why I didn't know her before.

Great for most areas but not for fingertips

Definitely one of the best waterproof patches I've used but they still have flaws. They stick very well to flat or curved surfaces, but don't wrap as well with your fingertips. I'm in culinary school, so I need a band-aid that can be wrapped around my fingertip and withstand a lot of hand washing. These patches will wear off after a day of normal hand washing, which is better than most, but not enough. However, that's the only real downside I've found with them and I will continue to buy and…

VERY SMALL - Nexcare Waterproof Bandages

These are great bandages. Love the adhesion - they can withstand at least a couple of showers. Thing is, I'll understand one day why NexCare is "hiding" actual association size on Amazon. They do it all the time. Giving box sizes is useless to those trying to dress wounds. Reviewers sometimes provide actual measurements in answers for the rest of us, but the NexCare Dressing Answers aren't always exactly the box of dressings we consider buying. You are very small. I need about 4 times that…

YOU STAY IN PLACE! via first aid

I got her to hide stitches/scars on the top and side of the foot after surgery. That's why I can walk in shoes! After surgery, I was told not to go barefoot because my post-surgery (and forever) injury required arch support. I was able to use it to sew up the seams and they stayed in place allowing me to wear sandals instead of "horrible boots" in just 10 days of removing the plates and screws. I use them to this day to prevent sensitive scars from rubbing. They are not only waterproof but also

A must for parents!

This should be a staple in every household with children. My kids are active and outdoors which means lots of little scratches and cuts. I spent a fortune on bandages before finding these waterproof ones. When properly donned, they will stay in place for the duration of your hike, including plenty of bath time! I have tried several other waterproof brands but none have worked as well as this one. Be careful when removing them from the packaging - if the clear sticky part curls up on its own…

Why? The photos (two) show a product twice the size

Why do the sales people at Revain lie like dogs - I don't see it that often on other company's websites. Look at the photos (two of them) of a grown male with hairy legs showing a knee and foot wrap for this one size advertised product. I assumed these photos were the size I received as they are the only photos here for this one size patch box. However, what I received is less than half the size. So I can't cover my wounds I bought them for! I needed it now to prevent infection. I used to buy…

The best bandages on the market (my professional opinion)

Quick and easy to prepare. Holds up great. They don't let water through. They are very easy to remove. I am allergic to all glues commonly used on leather. If I've left it on for more than a day or two my skin will start to break down with rashes, redness, oozing and itching. But I can wear these Nexcare products for several days without any side effects. For those who don't know how to put on these unique bandages, here are some very quick instructions. First, tear up the paper and discard the
