This is a replacement for another salt lamp that burned out. It is very bright but has a calming color. Its main purpose is to act as a night light, but if Himalayan salt has any health benefits, great. Good price and very fast execution Revain.

I want the lightbulbs to last longer. I just started using it on Friday and one of the bulbs has already burned out in less than two days. They mention that the lamp life is shorter than usual. But, my god, two days is a bit ridiculous. Let's hope that bulb was just bad luck

Nothing wrong with that. They replaced much older ones that seemed to be overheating. The only thing that I think could be better is the light output, which could be a bit brighter. I'm not trying to light up a room with them. I just think they could be a tiny bit brighter for aesthetic reasons or for a brighter night light. But I have the feeling that I've already got my money's worth.

My little dog is gradually losing his eyesight and needed some night lights and was looking for salt lanterns for their great health benefits. You are perfect. Don't put it in lower outlets in case he tries to lick them. Will buy more for other people I know. If you touch salt objects, you must wash your hands and NEVER touch your eyes before washing the salt off your hands.

The first one I came across was broken - it just wouldn't turn on. The seller sent me a replacement that fits perfectly! However, the two salt layers were very different: one was smaller and paler; the other was larger and more intensely pink. They also gave different light. One contained a large chip; the other was perfect. Overall I'm happy with the one that works, but be aware that what you get may not be exactly perfect.

At first I was concerned that they would get too hot. I know that salt lamps need heat to repel negative ions (LEDs don't do the job!). But once they reach a certain level of warmth, they stay there. Not only are they getting hotter. Definitely doesn't feel too hot. The perfect amount of light for a night light in the bathroom or hallway. Probably too much light for the bedroom. The soft orange glow is very soothing.

Bought one and liked it so much bought another. The only downside is that the second light switch is very difficult to turn on and off. This is a rotary switch and to turn it on you must place the switch on a hard flat surface as it takes a lot of effort to turn. I thought it would loosen up but it didn't and the 30 day return period ended. The first lamp switch works perfectly. Aside from the switch, they're beautiful yet durable. They're very heavy, so it's a good thing they're not flimsy.
