Bad: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

The first batch was completely broken. Very poor soldering quality (see attached photo). Of course it didn't work. The replacement product looks better but does not work. Rating sent to seller. The last message from them: "We are contacting a professional to answer your questions. Please wait patiently."

Came with ribbon cable installed backwards.

Provides instructions for aligning the ribbon cable. However, I received it installed upside down with the specified cable, so double check your alignment. I ended up using my own SATA power cable adapter since I don't have a 4-pin molex. The power connectors are a bit tight on tolerance and can break if not carefully disconnected. The USB port is a nice addition, but in my case it would be better if it was a USB port. So for me it works perfectly.

Works great once you fix their bug

As others reported, it didn't work at first - some reviewers mention multiple devices not working in a row. Looking at their illustration in the accompanying manual (if you can call it that), I noticed that the ribbon cable at the M2 end was blue side up, but on my unit it was blue side down - the ribbon cable was inserted the wrong way round . Unlatch the end of M2, flip the ribbon cable over so the blue side is visible from above, then latch it again and everything works great now. Notice…

Works well with PCIe and USB

It's a little pricey for a passive adapter (now selling for $5 more than I paid) but it works well. I used one to add a dual gigabit ethernet card to a mini-ITX motherboard (Asus H110T) that didn't have PCIe slots, using an M.2 Type-E slot for a Wi- Fi adapter used. It fits perfectly under my Type B+M M.2 SSD, which covers the Type E slot on this motherboard. An additional internal USB port is also useful and can work simultaneously with the PCIe slot as it is connected to separate pins on the…

Works amazingly well for memory cards. Accessories

I bought this for a GPU (GT 1030) to try and connect to this weird board I imported from overseas that doesn't have a slot for GPU. It seems to work. I also had what appeared to be "bad soldering" as someone else mentioned in their review, but that doesn't affect performance. Rather, based on the picture they shared, I think their cable is reversed. In fact, I think the manufacturer ships the pre-installed cable upside down and you need to reverse it to make it work. Not sure why they did it…
