High-temp (250°+ C / 482°+ F) silicone outer jacket resists moisture, oil/petrol and cracking due to temperature extremes.

2000 VW BEETLE 2.0L AEG Plug Wire

I love the blue color of the wire. The cables feel solid, as do the boots. Fits OEM and no cable was too short or too long. Contains dielectric silicone rubber boot lubricant. Used in 2000 VW Beetle 2.0L AEG.

Good price, quality and packaging.

They will fit one of those VW engines where the spark plug is at the bottom of a deep hole and requires an expensive special tool that will not work with some wiring harnesses. Everything worked out great because the quality and fit are great. I miss the days when simply changing spark plug wires wasn't like having a surgeon perform a quadrilateral cardiac bypass.

Worked great on my 2000 VW Jetta 2.0.

The last wires I had in this car came from Pepboys for $80! One of them was too short, so it was damaged by vibration for about 60,000 miles. I decided to see what Amazon has and these forks were perfect. For $40 (half the cost locally) I got the wires I needed and they were just long enough to fit the factory track. Even better, these wires have plastic protectors, see fig.

Good quality great price

Got these for my VW 2.0 AEG, really no problem except for a spark plug cover removal tool (required), it doesn't fit properly compared to OEM cables. Not sure if this is the tool I bought or what? Not a big problem when installing, but a problem when uninstalling. The quality is excellent and the cost savings over OEM are significant. Cable lengths are identical to OEMs, one catch is that OEMs other than these are labeled with numbers while others are labeled alphabetically. It's okay, but just

Good Wires - Wires

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but due to the many conflicting reviews I have decided to share my experience. These wires are the right size. I matched them one by one with the old ones and installed them one by one so I knew where they were going. That was with a 99 VW Beetle 2.0. I had a problem with the car jumping very hard and not accelerating. When I pulled it out it jumped and jumped and struggled to get to 40mph. When I was 55 or 60, I felt completely normal. I put new…
