There is also a 2.5 inches knitted cuff that can be tucked underneath kid's jacket and coat sleeves to prevent snow from getting inside the gloves. REFLECTOR MATERIAL FOR ADDED SAFETY: The mittens are specially designed with reflector tape trim, which will reflect light when outside in the dark. This is an important safety feature for kids when playing outside in the evening, as well as for many fun winter outdoor activities, such as sledding, skiing, skating, building snowmen and more. EASY TO PUT ON AND STAYS ON: The mittens are designed with elastic in the wrist area, which widens and allows for an easy-on fit. The hook and loop closure allows for a tight, secure fit to keep the mittens from falling off of little kids hands.
