Coil Making Works

My boyfriend at the time bought these to make coils for his vape, they seemed to work well for him as he made his own coils and sometimes his own vapes.

Pros
  • Beautiful Packaging
Cons
  • Volume

Excellent heating network: electrician

This cord is ideal for replacing a broken cord on an ice maker. It was a little larger than the original wire but works great and doesn't stretch too much. It's like pulling a tennis racket.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Socket required

Strong wire to hold the ice maker rack in place

A wire broke on my ice maker rack. Instead of buying a $30 kit for 10 feet of wire, I bought this wire and fixed the broken ice grid. My ice machine is making ice again! Good product.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A few minor things

Kenmore Ice Cutting Wire

Shipping was slow but worked great as the cutting wire for the built in ice maker. I only used 9ft for a coat but it was just as good as the $30+ packs. The machine was an old Kenmore ice machine. Thanks for saving.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some small things

Product worked as expected

I bought this wire to make a foam cutter and it worked great. It ended up being thicker than I really needed, but I was able to build a cutter to accommodate the length of wire needed for the temperature I wanted. I also added a shunt wire to fine tune the desired heat.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some bugs

Perfect for cutting foam!

Using a 30w power supply, a V-shaped nichrome wire and 14 gauge silicon insulating wire, I was able to heat the nichrome to just enough temperature to cut through the upholstery foam. This wire is strong and durable and has worked great for me.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Minor issues

Perfect for cutting foam!

Using a 30w power supply, nichrome wire with a V-shaped metal frame and 14 gauge silicone insulated wire, I was able to get the nichrome hot enough to cut through the upholstery foam. This wire is strong and durable and has worked great for me.

Pros
  • Nichrome 80 22g 100ft
Cons
  • Uncertain

Use to be great. for electrical wire

There were many nicks on the wire. Almost every coil had major hotspots or blackouts. Disappointed that they have a great wire. I can make a dozen identical coils and they will read very differently, from 0.06 to 0.32 ohms. Remember I started in 2006 and I'm 12 years behind me.

Pros
  • For use as a resistor in electronic projects
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Ideal for repairing cutting wire under the ice machine

This "80 - 100 ft - 22 gauge Nichrome Resistance Wire" is a fit product and ideal for repairing ice cutting wire on our hot tub hot tub. under the counter ice machine. I would really like to have this wire in some sort of dispenser as it tends to unwind on its own and becomes a problem for the pen once its plastic wrapping is removed.

Pros
  • Resistance 1.016 ohm/ft
Cons
  • unreliable
