Do not use with CO2! Killed my fish.

When the power goes off and on again, guess what? The light won't turn on, so if you have a carbon dioxide tank and the power is turned back on, the solenoid will turn the carbon dioxide back on, but NO light = dead fish. This item worked great until I lost power and choked my fish! I had to remove it and re-enable the stock switch, which actually turns on and off when turned on. Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Nothing

It was a little strange setting it up, and you absolutely must read the instructions (not very intuitive, at least for me). You need to know exactly when to turn lights on and off and dim them as you make adjustments. I found that there wasn't much time between settings, so I had to adjust the…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

  • Almost OK
