If you're going to walk on snow or ice, buy them.

When you have to walk on snow and ice, you're guaranteed not to fall. I have worn ice boots for many years because I run 365 days a year and live in a very cold, snowy area. But if you need to walk the dog on the sidewalks near you after the snow has fallen and there is ice on the ground, this is the product to buy.

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • Hard to say

The best ice cleats for ice and snow gripping

I live in Alaska where there is a lot of snow and ice. These are the best boots I've had in 25 years. They don't slide at all on the frequent ice on my steep driveway. This is the best design I've seen with 20 spikes that don't fall out like the others with small spikes embedded in the material. I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Low repairability

Boots required

It's nice to have some control when walking on chunks of ice, especially as you get older. People fall and lie there for a while because the ice surprises them. These boots are easy to slip on and off when needed. It's so important to keep them in the car so you're always ready. There may be ice on the ground where you least expect it. You must always be ready.

Pros
  • Fair performance
Cons
  • Poor

Worked on snow and ice.

You have been my lifesaver during the recent snow storms and ice storms we have had this year. My house is on a low slope and I have to cross a busy freeway to get to my car and these snow boots have never let me down allowing me to walk perfectly in deep snow. Easy to apply and stays in place. Runs smoothly on snow and ice. I forgot they were with me, even went with them. This is my best purchase from Revain.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Negativity present

Elastic rubber that stretches easily

I've just used these Nihao ice boots for the first time on a driveway covered with hard ice and a layer of snow. I took the time to put on my ice boots before raking and spreading some of the melted ice. Every year before I go outside, I swap my shoes for rubber boots. These very large ice boots went through effortlessly and slipped easily over my size 11 galoshes. I've never slipped and was amazed at how well they hold up on the ice. I would highly recommend this brand of ice cleats to others…

The best boots so far!

I walk a lot and have struggled to find good boots that (1) work and (2) last a long time. I've used boots I bought in stock from the club, they work great but they don't last long. I really love how these boots fit over my shoes, provide great traction and most importantly, HOLD. I've walked 34 miles on the icy trails so far and although they're showing some wear they still have a lot of life in them. I'm sure they will last me for the next couple of months skating and next winter (note I've…

Walking comfort on ice

3 years ago I broke my thigh with a simple fall on ice. It happened in a split second and I still can't walk without pain. So I got a pair of a different brand the first winter and they broke on the first use. So I bought another brand and they stayed together but were harder to put on and take off every time I was inside. They turn on and off in a second and don't feel like walking on pebbles like others I've tried. They stick to ice and are also great for smooth wooden decks. I like them so…

  • Clothing, shoes and jewelry
