garbage quality. Not very bright.

Update: After only 2 months of very infrequent use, 6 LEDs have failed. ------- Works well but not very bright. It's hard to tell if it's on when the low beams are on (HID 55W). Photos taken in manual mode at the same shutter speed and ISO. Photo 1: LED Strip Only Photo 2: Low Beam (HID 55W) Photo 3: LED Strip + Low Beam

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons

Good for light bars

Not only met my expectations, it exceeded them. My neighbors don't care. They're a bunch of libraries. I installed it on the roof of my Iroc 87 as I flipped its tail and pulled into the driveway causing the White Snake to explode. I hit on the bad girl and she lights up the world so I don't run into a gear on the blocks in the driveway. 10/10

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of style

Excellent little light bar

I bought this light to install next to me. It's very bright. A huge improvement over the stock headlights. The light seems to be of good quality. My only issue was that in my situation the light would max out if adjusted up. However, this is not a problem caused by light. It illuminates well both in width and in the distance.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Disappear

Not too bad for the money.

Not as bright as advertised, but still bright enough. I have the 12 inch and half the LEDs stopped working just a week after installation. You also always have condensation behind the lenses. In the worst case, splashes or rain fall on them. tries to seal them with something, but having him seal the way light is made would be a nightmare.

Pros
  • Annual Trial
Cons
  • Periodicity

Cool but not as bright as others

Like it but not as bright as I would like. This is the light bar you buy when you want to piss off the guy in front of you. This is not an off-road light strip. I installed this behind the bars of a 3rd gen Takoy and can't even tell it's on when I have the high beams (brightness) on. I thought it would overpower my stock headlights well, but it doesn't. It's cool to have, but it's just a novelty. If you're looking for some serious off-road lighting, or lighting to really light up a road whereโ€ฆ

Great deal, very nice. Was hoping for a longer electric cord so 4 out of 5

Good. - Arrive 3 days before the first expected day with free shipping. - very bright is of great importance. I'm constantly working on the front bumper, I have overheads set to the derailleur. - Installation only took about 20 minutes. - It feels like it's going to last. - I only have about 12-16" of wire so I had to wire to connect it to get to the power and floor plan - comes with a lock washer but to ensure the screw stays tight once the hole is drilled , perhaps a larger standing washerโ€ฆ

Inexpensive, but DOES NOT MEET the specified characteristics.

These are advertised as 300w units. When first switched on it was clear that it was NOT MORE THAN 300 W, in fact it couldn't even be 100 W. So I took out a voltmeter and an ammeter. At 13.6V they drew 3.1A and the total power consumption was 42.2W. Allowing for losses in the voltage converter/current limiter, the LEDs certainly cannot be powered more than 40 watts. Given their performance compared to, for example, a 10W Cree LED, it is clear that these LEDs are not very efficient. Given thatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some small things
