Description of ๐ŸŽฎ Nintendo 8-Bit Link amiibo: The Legend of Zelda

This amiibo represents a 3-D imagining of the 8-bit Link from the original Legend of Zelda game on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Armed only with a sword and shield, this hero set out to save the land of Hyrule and its imprisoned princess, Zelda, from the evil Ganon. Recommended for children ages 6+.

A great gift for fans of retro games

Completely unnecessary purchase that is worthwhile. Nothing more to say. If you're a fan of Zelda games and like the retro style, this is a nice little figure even if you don't use it to play (I didn't). Looks great alongside a similar retro Mario amiibo figure. Oh, and the Master Sword is strapped to his back and cannot be seen while still in its packaging.

Fiction! - Accessory

A great throwback to Link's Sprite from the original Legend Of Zelda for NES and it will be compatible with Breath Of The Wild. Like all amiibo, it's well made and there's a cool new base for this series. Interestingly, his sword is at a 45ยบ angle on his back, which wasn't in the game, and it's reminiscent of Minecraft's iconography. My minor gripes are that 8-bit Mario is on an elevated stand (pipe) so they don't line up nearby, and what's wrong with his nose?

The size is pretty funny. When you think of the 8-bit Zelda from the original Legend of Zelda game, you might think of this little connection running across the 8-bit map, but in number form it's actually quite large, if not larger as some of the zelda amiibo, lol. . But great details. I can see a bit of scratches even though it's a new figure, for example I can see a trace of glue next to his ear and small pieces of plastic that weren't cut out properly for sculpting. I give it 4 stars forโ€ฆ

Bad Description - Accessory

The picture shows that it is a 30th anniversary figure. No, that is not so. Although multiple items were ordered, this item was still shipped individually in an envelope. One of the reasons people place them in larger orders is so they arrive intact. Luckily, despite a slight bend in the top part of the packaging and some plastic, I was able to pull it out again without too many creases. Overall I was lucky it arrived in one piece, very poor shipping, product not as described but the originalโ€ฆ
