G-pigs yes, parrots no

G-pigs like it! I like windows for treats and love. The parrot remains questionable😆. Came to us fully assembled so it was difficult. Very durable. You might be tempted to use it as a step stool, but I wouldn't push it (stupid how stupid). Why 3 stars? Because 5 stars for a product and a company that goes out of their way to impress me! You guys are too easy to give 5 stars. In summary, this is a great little space to keep your G-pigs, rats, chinwhatchamacallits or maybe even a ferret, but…

I really wanted to love him, but.

I really, really wanted to love this wooden shelter. I first bought this for my two gerbils because they like to jump onto higher platforms to get a better view of their room. My gerbils love to chew on everything so they started destroying this shelter. I know most small animal shelters or hutches are built with hot glue or nails, but I never expected thin, sharp nails sticking out of their shelter. I immediately removed it from their tank and I'm glad they didn't get hurt. I'm sad, I really…

excellent design, large, one door, two windows for evacuation!

I have used many different GPS houses. wood, plastic. and made inserts for them out of coroplast plastic. This house caught my eye straight away - the windows are the roof for the holiday :) The house arrived today and I couldn't wait to start making a custom coroplast liner so I could store bedding (or fleece etc.) in the I should be optional cleaned more often. In case you ever want to make a custom paste I've included pictures of the steps. Payback is pretty happy Noogie looks at his…

Just the thing for happy pigs

Having just bought a second one thought it was time to review this amazing cabin! With three pigs, they're constantly trying to be the lucky ones sleeping in that cabin, so I need to add more to their house. It's not big enough for my fatter hogs, but a 1200g Millie can easily stretch out and fit through the side windows. It's hard for them, but my 1100 gram pigs fit through the windows with no problem, which is great when a big pig wants to throw them out of "their place". The top is perfect…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not as fat as the others

The best guinea pig shelter on the market

UPDATE! We bought a second one and put them side by side and they all go through the side windows like one big tunnel. The weather was cold and I noticed they snuggled up indoors and kept warm. The wood is thick and they are very well made. As for urine getting into the wood, we spray the impregnated parts with Natures Miracle and that takes care of it! This house is very well built, I was surprised at how strong it is! My pig just gave birth to babies and it fits the whole family without…

Our chinchilla fits great and loves it!

I wouldn't call it easy to clean or tough so those were odd categories for a star rating. This product is made of natural wood, it washes well, but it is wood so set your expectations accordingly. It's untreated so it's safe for your furry friends. Speaking of the safe, it's well built and if there are nails, as they say, they aren't. You can't chew it, thank goodness, because it's designed to be chewed. My chinchilla walks on the windowsills - she likes it. This product is large in size and…

MUST HAVE FOR RATS good for habitat decor

This wooden house quickly became a favorite of my "oldies", my 3 rats. I put blankets in and they love sleeping here. I also have 4 little boys and they sometimes try to come into the house but they quickly realized they are old boys who hang around and don't stay long. It would also be a large size for a guinea pig, or maybe two smaller guinea pigs could fit inside. UPDATE: I bought a second house for my other boy's cage and now they love it too. I still have the old house I got and although I
