Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I bought myself a special anti-noise case, but it turned out that there was only one fan in it, and that one was for blowing. Moreover, this fan was very noisy, and definitely did not fit into the concept of a quiet computer. Well, ok, what to do - I began to look for the 120th fan to replace it. I read a lot of reviews and reviews. I settled on Noctua NF-S12A PWM. And the standard beige color of Noctua did not suit me. The case is black, the fan should also be black. Therefore, the Chromax…

Pros
  • - Really silent. Well, very straight - The special shape of the impeller makes it ideal for case blowing fans - Many colored anti-vibration pads - great for cases with windows
Cons
  • I don't even know what to complain about. Maybe it's because the packaging of the Chromax series is not as rich as the usual Noctua

Super efficient and super quiet! Better than expected!

I bought two of these fans to replace the fans that originally came with my Corsair H80 CPU cooler. The Corsair fans were deafeningly loud and it was impossible to properly control the speed through the system BIOS. When I first turned on my computer after installing the Noctua fans, they were so quiet I had to verify they were really working. To run! I connected the fans to the CPU fan headers (there are two on my system, CPU_Fan and CPU_OPT), not to the headers on the H80 pump body. I then…

Ideal if you want an all black fan

Everyone should know Noctua and how good their fans are. The Chromax line combines Noctua's great performance without the signature beige-brown color. The fans are quiet, pull a lot of air, have excellent build quality, and the cables are coiled up for an added quality feel. I only have two problems with these fans. The fan cable exits the fan and immediately connects to the extension cable via a bulky pwn header/connector. This can be an issue if you prefer to orient the fan in a specific…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Possibly the best fans you can buy!

I got 4 pieces. Three to replace the original exhaust fans that came with my Antec P280 case 7 or 8 years ago and 1 to bring in fresh air from the front. Older fans were just 3-pin fans with a high/low speed switch mounted on the back of the case. These are of course 4-pin PWM fans controlled by the motherboard. These fans are silent. I can hear the Cryorig H7 CPU fan when it starts overclocking, but I can't hear the 4 Noctua case fans. The case and everything that works in it is cooled. My…

Quiet, Discreet, Good Airflow

Wow. Only when you have fans right next to each other can you really hear the difference. For sidewall cooling I used a standard 200mm Cooler Master fan, then 4 120mm Corsair AF Quite Edition fans and now 4 Noctua NF-S12A fans. I have to say that the Noctua NF-S12A is quieter and delivers the same if not more airflow, even at maximum RPM. The cable is slightly shorter than the gray Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700. I like that the 4 pin cable is short and I can use the splitter cable on the fans and…

And yes, Mr. Wayne, it comes in black.

This fan was purchased to replace a pre-installed exhaust fan which began to howl during operation. Noctua has always been a Rolls Royce of case fan makers, but Ford is in the color choice - you can have fans of any color if you want Soviet block brown. I'm glad Noctua has finally addressed this shortcoming and is releasing sleek black fans that go with everything. This fan is as quiet as all Noctua fans, but it's no longer the color of baby puke. I appreciate that Noctua includes different…

Quiet Cool Upgrade to my Fractal Design Meshify C

To recap before we go into details: Pros: + Aesthetically pleasing for my build, White matches RGB lighting on motherboard, front fans and LED strips + much quieter sound compared to stock Fractal Design case fan + different color options for rubber mounts + now strong case airflow + PWM fan compared to old 3-pin Fractal Design DC fan Cons: - high price of fans - short cables - rather difficult mounting screws For a more detailed review: I love these fans. I'm officially a "fan" of Noctua fans…

Application of AV cooling system

I have developed a system to keep the AV case cool inside the case. Components include Aventage, Emotiva, and Oppo. The cooling equipment used includes: 1. Noctua fans (3) (Model No. NF-S12A PWM)2. Noctua Fan Controller (Model No. NA-FC1)3. Noctua Extension Cable (Model # NA-SEC1)4. Cablemod Molex to SATA Cable (Model # CM-CAB-MSAP 45KK-R)5. Coolerguys power supply (110 VAC to 12 VDC power supply with 4-pin Molex connector). Of course, the anti-vibration corners protect the AV equipment and…
