This product outperforms similar well known branded products on the market and OMG! What a saving! I've gone crazy using it for all sorts of things, just recently I lined the inside of my outboard motor cover and it made a huge difference in the noise level, I also lined the washer and dryer, car doors and trunk Odor I'm ordering more.

Shhh! This is great thing!

Works well, wish the foil was thicker. The sharp edge of the uxcell roller I used to apply tends to cut through the aluminum foil, requiring me to tape and mask off specific areas. I used this product to cover the boot/spare wheel well area of my VW Golf Alltrack as the exhaust I had was too loud. This coating definitely deadened the exhaust noise and reduced even more road noise and improved the bass response of the stock Fender subwoofer. I took the rest of the film and insulated the back of…

Exceeded expectations

Very very good product. Bought 3 boxes (36 square feet each) to rebuild my 2013 Toyota Avalon. I only used 2. My father (an ex auto mechanic) and I installed it on all floors and in the trunk. It took about 7-8 hours from start to finish. We didn't put it in the doors or the roof. Using the decibel app on my phone, I recorded the following decibels before installing it. Idle - 31dB, 35mph - 52dB, 70mph - 72dB. After installation my idle numbers are 31dB, 35mph - 35dB, 70mph 53-58dB (depending…

does what it says the best in bodywork and finish

Used 1.5 boxes on a Mazda 3 2017. Convenient to work with. I have never worked with other brands. Fatmat smells disgusting right out of the box, so I sent it back. It doesn't smell, comes in worksheets. I would recommend a razor blade knife, a roll of dynamite, a box of spare trim clips, a fairing puller, and lots of patience. Don't be fooled, it takes a whole day to take the car apart and put this stuff on. If you have a broken car, just spend the extra cash and buy the MLV right away. 40 sqm…

It's very good for the price.

So far so good with my setup. I'm covering parts of my van with a high roof before we insulate it. Some notice an unpleasant odor. My backpack smelled faintly of asphalt. It's not bad at all, and only marginally inferior to Dynamat or SecondSkin. How well does it work? None of these products are designed to block sound. They are designed to dampen vibrations. This is done at the expense of elasticity and mass. Also how quickly the material reacts to impacts. This product, like many others, is a

Exceeded expectations

This product is causing a stir. I did the outer and inner lining of all 4 doors on my station wagon. As a result, 7.5 out of 9 sheets in the box were consumed. With a utility knife and sometimes scissors, this material was easy to cut. There are many videos on the Internet showing how to draw and transfer outlines with door vapor barriers or plastic sheeting with a marker. To be honest, this is all exaggerated. The installation process for this absorbent material is a lot easier than I thought.

  • Great for me

Affordable, efficient muffler

Installed on my 2007 Subaru Forester. 36 square meters is more than enough to leave all the doors, the tailgate, the rear quarter panels and a little more. For the doors, I decided to do the inside of the door's outer skin as well as the inside of the door's inner skin. I bought a small Revain butane blowtorch and used it to heat the material after a light application. This improves adhesion and makes it easier to unroll. You will also need a small roller (get a wooden one) to apply this…

NOT for noise reduction guys!

The first thing you should know is that this product is NOT designed to be a "soundproof" or noise dampening material. It primarily aims to reduce platen vibration by increasing the mass of the fragile/flexible areas. This will especially help get rid of shock and vibration. in your vehicle. The people who gave it 1 or 2 stars obviously didn't do their homework before applying. When used strategically/correctly, this should not require more than 25-30% coverage per panel. It's also designed to…
