Description of 🚗 Noico RED 150 mil 36 sqft Car Sound Insulation: Quiet Your Ride with Self-Adhesive Closed Cell Deadening Material (PE Foam Sound Deadener)

The cost effective 150 mil closed cell foam sound deadening material on Amazon! You are not just buying an excellent quality product but also saving more than 20% comparing to competitors as well!. Noico 150 mil is a very versatile insulation material with excellent thermal barrier properties. It is the best way to make the car cool and quiet! It’s easy to cut and install!. Noico 150 mil has the same characteristics and excellent noise insulator properties as rubber foam. It absolutely doesn’t absorb water & has no odor unlike polyurethane foam. It has a very low weight, oil and petrol resistant. The sound deadener material allows you to deal with both, cold and the heat. This is especially important in hot climate areas. Well-insulated interior is a pledge of high comfort while in vehicle. The operating temperature of the material is the same as of the rubber foam – up to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. DO NOT use this product as heat shield for mufflers, catalytic converters, DPF and more. In this case, you need to use special materials designed for 900-3000 degrees F. Sound deadening material specifications: Nominal thickness 150 mil; Total coverage area of 36 sq. feet; Number of sheets in the stack 34; Nominal sheet Size 15.7x9.8 inch.

Excellent soundproofing

1 box filled the entire cabin of my 1980 Toyota pickup. Excellent adhesion and definitely excellent soundproofing for the interior. Since there is no factory soundproofing. I matched it with an 80 mil Noico base coat and then 150 mil on top. Highly recommended +++++

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Quality product at a bargain price

A simple and effective product. I can feel a big difference in the temperature of my van. Now that the weather is cold I climb into my van and don't need to freeze before I turn on the heat safe and sound, I almost never turn on the heat or air conditioning. Just open the windows for fresh air. Great product👍🏿

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Empty

Good product for the price

I just installed this over a butyl muffler in my Tacoma and the combination made an incredible difference in the noise. This was my first experience with small styrofoam sheets, but once I realized how easy it is to cut with scissors, the work almost started. Would buy again if I decided to do more or get a different car.

  • Great price

Imo best value for money

once you peel off the backing it sticks to almost anything it touches. Tried retuning it several times and it broke the foam, just a warning. I cleaned the corner and moved closer to tape it to the carrion. If I were researching my truck I would go with the thicker 315 mil red foam as there is plenty of room in my truck doors. with muting and installation of this foam, the mids in the 6x9 kicker have improved, the bass seems a bit tighter than before (like a soldered speaker). that's plus black

Pros
  • great design
Cons
  • fades

Better than expected, excellent value for money

Pros: - Absorbs sound in all applications used, as long as it's not deep bass. - A bit isolated. Salon has become more bearable in bad weather. I hope it will be just as effective this summer. Don't use it primarily to acoustically treat a subwoofer in the trunk, it's not thick enough to absorb those forces. Cons: - Don't try to curve it around the surface. The weaker part will peel off. The foam is too hard and the glue isn't very strong. To get around this, you can use your blade to cut off…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll write later

Okay, but the glue might be too good.

To be honest, I like the product. HOWEVER before buying I asked what is the difference between Noico Green and Red. Their rep just said "the glue is different" but didn't mention its strength or other changes. I also asked how much stronger red is compared to green. but just given "that's the difference" green had the ability to rebuild, red once it sticks, it sticks. I wasn't expecting this as I'm from Noico Green and had to cut out some styrofoam pieces. Great glue but you have to be careful…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Suitable for van conversion

I bought 5 boxes of these to wrap a mid rise converted Ford Transit van. 3 boxes never showed up, but Revane did. I used all 5 boxes. It was the perfect amount. It took me about 30 hours to complete, but I didn't have many panels to remove and didn't fall through them. About Heat: It handles heat well, but also insulates well. On hot days I notice that the temperature outside is much higher than inside. I'll feel the roof of the van and it'll be hot, but the insulation will be warm. For a van…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Know what you're getting and you won't be disappointed.

Do not buy this to reduce engine and road noise in the cabin. Buy this to improve the quality of your sound system. It enhances the natural resonance of the records you apply it to. If you have a large unsupported part of the record (e.g. an eardrum), always apply this in the middle. The added mass and smaller gearing help this section vibrate less when your woofers are booming at lower frequencies. I did all four doors, back panel and transmission (and also installed new speakers all around)…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
