This is a good frying pan for frying bacon and other foods that release a lot of fat. But beware - the coating of the stand is a little soft and scratches easily. But I will definitely buy another one for the gas grill!

Ideal for roasting bacon in the oven. Simply spray some vegetable oil in a skillet, load a baking sheet with bacon and cook for 24-28 minutes depending on how you like the bacon. It does its job perfectly, the bacon doesn't curl up but comes out flat, all the fat stays at the bottom of the pan. Cleaning is easy if you spray it first. Great price, I use often!

Good size. Remember you are cleaning a non-stick surface, not hard washcloths. In the center is a fountain where bacon fat is collected. I put a sheet of parchment inside so the grease can be easily disposed of in the trash can, but I'll probably just use a nylon spatula or scraper to keep the grease out of the drain.

When frying, I remove the grate and replace it with either just aluminum foil or a regular grate, since the grate that comes with the pan has some kind of coating. for baking bacon, so I don't use what the manufacturer recommends.
