You get great birdies.

This pan makes nice little fours. I sprayed liberally with floured baking spray and used the recipe for a denser cake. They came out instantly, and the details weren't completely lost in the glazing. I use a toothbrush for nooks and crannies, but it was easy to clean the first time.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Beautiful but impossible to use

I was dying to try it but was a complete disappointment. I made a dense cake as other reviewers warned about cake sticking. I sprayed the pan very well with oil spray. Regardless, everyone got stuck in the pot. Scooping them all up was difficult and time-consuming, and the pan never got completely clean. I strongly recommend not spending any money on it.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Great, use flour spray

Absolutely perfect. Arrived exactly as pictured and my cupcakes were a huge hit. I'm a bad baker and used store-bought mixes, but now my family thinks I can actually cook! IMPORTANT: Flour must be present when smearing (I used flour spray, see cheat above) otherwise the cakes will become impossible to remove. Apply generously and they'll pop right out.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No instructions

use the joy of baking! good for casserole dish

i was a little apprehensive about using this after all the sticky disaster reviews. It's not something I would use with a light test. Make the box mix a little thicker by using sour cream and/or custard mix first. I used Baker's Joy cooking spray and they came out amazingly well. The lemon pies I made came out clean and all I had to do was rinse the pan when I was done. It was so clean after the first batch that all I had to do was respray and refill the pan to go back to the second round.

Very cute shapes!

I have only baked two recipes with this ban, one with great success and one with great failure. The trick to getting your cakes intact is 1) the recipe you're making, 2) the technique. When you make an "easy" cake/cupcake recipe, it WILL NOT come out of the pan no matter what you do and is an absolute clean-up PITA. However, I made the mini pancakes using the same greasing technique and they came out in perfect shape. So stick to heavier cakes like buns and muffins for this pan. Also, for the…

Great for cake batter

Loved it: I bought this product to help make brownies from scratch for my Christmas menu. It worked great with a small amount of cake batter. The buttercream vanilla cookie I made turned out great. I saw the design well. Dissatisfied: First of all, I was disappointed. I didn't get the brownies I wanted. At least not entirely. I tried twice. The second time I sprayed with excess vegetable oil, but I still had to dig them out. They came out in pieces and I had to soak the pan a few times to get…

Indispensable for cakes and confectionery with filling.

The frying pan is excellent. Although I can already bake minis (1/10 cup total capacity for each hole) with the Nordic Ware Bundt Charms pans and Nordic Ware Flowers Petits Fours pans I have, I needed this pan as well. These holes have a total capacity of about 1/12 cup (slightly less than Bundt Charms and Petits Fours). These indentations are deeper than the indentations in the other two shells. These indentations are about as deep as they are wide, so they're perfect for making muffins or…

Loosens cakes perfectly with the right baking spray

I made cupcakes with this last night and it came out perfectly every time. I was liberal with Baker's Joy between parties. I've found the best results filling forms a little over half full, although the packaging says even 3/4 might be fine. I find the recipe I used a bit too "airy" as the cupcakes rose a bit during baking so unfortunately most of the detail in the molds was lost through bubbles. I am still very impressed with this pan, the even baking and the ease with which the cupcakes come…
