Works great and makes very tasty ravioli.

The product works the same as the smaller version. The only downside is that larger ravioli require a very wide pasta belt - this is almost the maximum size for most pasta machines, so it may take a few tries to get it right. They ravioli take lots of toppings and were a real treat.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Almost never

Strange metal residue

I washed it in the dishwasher before use to make sure it was clean enough. When I first picked the ravioli I noticed that there was a dark residue on my fingers and the ravioli. Throw away the first ravioli and opt for a different shape. I ran it through the dishwasher again. I don't have any marks on my fingers yet, but I'm hesitant to try again for ravioli.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great concept but didn't impress me

The overall quality of this product is excellent. Looks pretty strong and durable. I didn't give it five stars because I actually found it more difficult and time consuming to make ravioli with it than just doing it by hand. It was stupid and I still had to use a knife to cut them. If you aim for all your ravioli to be the same and don't mind spending three times as much time making them, this tool might be for you.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No mold required

Love This Ravioli Maker

Works very well. After watching a few YouTube videos, we figured out the process. Fits perfectly with the Kitchen Aid Mixer. The blender does all the work. It's fun and lets us make a few hundred quickly. My mother and grandmother made them by hand. The dough was always too thick. We get the perfect dough band with a kitchen mixer and the attachments we bought for making the dough band. When we're done, we'll cook up a few packets of spaghetti before cleaning up the kitchen. Don't forget to…

This is great for making homemade ravioli.

This is a really easy to use and well made device. I made homemade ricotta ravioli and they turned out great. You can make your own dough using semolina and some all-purpose flour, or buy lasagna sheets that are perfect for ravioli. Try making ricotta with whole milk and a tablespoon or two of vinegar. Stir until curd forms, then pour into a sieve lined with cheesecloth. Do not use ultra-pasteurized soft and you can also use cream. Vacuum after freezing.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
