Pulling floats out of kombucha

The funnel is a little smaller than I expected. But the funnel is ideal for pouring kombucha. The strainer does an excellent job of catching any floaters to make your kombucha more eye-catching.

Great for use with wine filter

Good construction, great value and perfect for filtering a whole bottle of wine through these new wine filters (they work!) plus large size. We decant almost every bottle of red wine we have through a filter, making the process very easy.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • All right

Pretty good, I would have liked it to be a bit smaller and more elegant.

While it does its job well, I wish it was a little smaller and more stylish overall. It's a little chunky for upscale restaurant use, and the handle is a little big and chunky. But in terms of performance, it does what it's supposed to.

Pros
  • dream come true
Cons
  • the list will be long.

For red wine lovers

Excellent for removing the lees from many fine red wines, especially those aged for several years. Bought as a gift for red wine lovers. Use to decant wine into a suitable carafe. Wash in clean water and do not use soap, dishwasher or detergent.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Only available in black

The only thing that would make this funnel perfect would be if you could connect the filter to the funnel. There's a good chance you'll lose the strainer if you're not an organized person, but other than that I love this funnel. I used it to fill small vials with my homemade vanilla extract and the strainer did a great job with all the little bits of vanilla bean. For such small jobs, this is the perfect funnel size; If you're going to use it to sift things like frying oil, you'll definitelyโ€ฆ

Funnel size is perfect for easy pouring

Received this quicker than expected and ended up using it for hours. The funnel size is perfect and allows for easy pouring. The network is good too. It sits in the funnel without moving while pouring, which is nice. I have used this to pour wine from a bottle into a carafe and back into the bottle. The curved spout is a nice touch too, allowing the wine to flow down the side of the bottle/carafe which helps with ventilation (particularly allowing you to hit the carafe's sweet spot). I'mโ€ฆ

Nice for small parties

Pretty funnel. It is dishwasher safe and the fact that the strainer is not attached prevents food residue from sticking to it. However, it should be noted that it is best used for small amounts of liquid. I bought it with the intention of using it to strain the oil from the fryer: about three liters. While the fine mesh filter is ideal for separating particles from oil, it clogs too quickly for my purposes due to its small size. Also, the narrow bottom means the oil drains fairly slowly and the
