Ideal for FAST filtering lemon juice pulp for drinking at home!

Use this to filter out the homemade schnapps I make for Christmas and it's the perfect middle ground for filtering the pulp out of lemon juice. Tried a coffee filter before this one which filtered PERFECTLY but it also took days. Using these bags filters it in minutes and it's clean/filtered enough for me! Leaves very little cloud/precipitation in the final product.

Useful Food Strainer Gadget

It's a little bigger than I thought considering how short the bags are but it filters fine particles well. I would use cheesecloth for the biggest stuff first and then run juice through to get cleaner juice. The legs screw into the ring, but they should be slightly loose when planted on the rim of a round pot. If they're dressed so they don't move, then they're not in a pot. Maybe it should be in the container and not balanced on the pot? Still glad I got it and would recommend for small…

Works perfectly! for kitchen utensils and gadgets

This strainer worked great. I screwed on the legs, put the bag on the ring and stretched the legs over the bowl. I had to unscrew a couple of the legs about a quarter to a half turn to align the legs directly on the bowl. I sifted 6 pounds of plums that I had boiled in 1 1/2 cups of water and was able to collect it all in one bag. I thought it looked small when I bought it, but it holds up more than you might think. And the bag was perfectly cleaned; briefly soaked in cold water, hand washed…

Don't let that happen to you!

I bought this to make grape juice. The pouches are great and can be used on a jug or gallon can. However, the stand is unstable. I installed a stand over the bowl and pitcher. The bowl landed on the first grape and splattered it all over the floor, walls and table of my kitchen. Because it's so high above the bowl that it squirts. Then the pitcher fell on my counter. I've spent most of my day refining grape juice and if you've never done it, believe me, you don't want to. My walls are still…

WAY too small, legs don't snap in the right direction

I can't see what this could be used for when it comes to jellyberries. You'd have to do 1/6th of the recipe or so, and even then I know what's involved. I make gooseberry and chokeberry jelly and this little coaster was utterly useless. The legs don't snap so they are all weak and 2 are pointing one way and the 3rd is pointing the other when screwed all the way in so you can't mount it to the bowl and leave it 'hanging' like that it is. In the photo it is made so that the legs are tightly…
