Easy to pour, smooth oil flow. I originally bought a similar tin in Italy and wanted a second one. Great for olive oil as it protects the oil from sunlight and minimizes the amount of oil dripping (though not all). You still have to wipe the spout from time to time, but it does its job well.

We've always used an olive oil jug because it gives you better control. Our ten year old jar broke so we replaced it with this one because it looks nice and has a narrow spout that looks like you can control the flow and placement well. It looks really good and works well. The lid snaps, hopefully it will still snap ten years from now. UPDATE: Leaking - needs to be returned. Such a shame

Great! I had concerns about the handle when ordering this oiler because it was flat; I thought it might not be convenient to use. No problem. And the design is great. The design of the spout, as well as the beautiful oval lid that fits very well, ensure perfect functional pouring: no spills. The size is good: it's half full, the oil lasts a long time but not so much that it might go stale sitting next to the stove. And look at that! What a darling sitting at the hearth. Yes.

Mine doesn't leak. You must take a protective plastic cap with you, which is only for protection during transport. What happens is that a small amount of oil runs down the nose and pools at the bottom edge and then squirts out, forming a small ring of oil on whatever you are applying it to. The solution is to immediately wipe that tiny amount of oil off the spout after each pour. Your finger, put your finger in your mouth, enjoy the taste of EVOO while admiring your cool decorative butter dish.

Leak warnings correct. . . After reading these comments in the reviews before buying the jar, I pre-sealed all the seams with sealant before pouring olive oil into the jar. Well, after three days it's already flowing from below. Now I no longer have problems with dripping from the sink - this is characteristic of the oil and cannot be avoided with any product. But if the container itself can't hold the intended contents without pouring it onto the counter (or the "dropper" in my case), then you
