This is by far one of the best purchases I've made for my caravan to keep it from splattering and ruining the walls while cooking. Surprisingly easy to use and clean and I bought a second one for my mother-in-law's RV. Get one for my house now!

I hate cleaning, especially around the stove. The oil splashes are always so big around the stove and everything gets oily all around. However, it is like a wall, and splashes of oil get there. It's also very easy to clean. I wholeheartedly recommend to people who spill oil/things while cooking and hate cleaning up often. Great gifts for foodies!

I already had a grease trap like this and was glad to see a non-stick version of it. However, the height is low so I don't think it will catch splashes from anything above the pan. Also, the pins that hold the panels together are loose and slide out very easily. Not sure if this was intentional so they can be washed and dried easily. It was frustrating to keep re-inserting them during use.

Weak but works. I think I'll make my own out of sheet aluminum (or maybe stainless steel) and piano hinges. It costs more, but it doesn't bend with a light pressure of your index finger. burn and discolour. Note. I realize this isn't advertised but I tried the one that arrived bent as I didn't care what happened to it.

I bought this to put behind my electric skillet which often splatters grease on my back apron and also when using my electric mixer for a very liquid product . Although it blocks splashes, it only blocks about 50% since it's only 9 inches tall. If you used it with a stovetop frying pan it would probably work better, but it did with my electric frying pan. This is the perfect accessory for photography. You have to take a quick picture of something, you open it. Use fridge magnets to attach colored paper/fabric etc to the back.
