Okay, I've never heard of a kitchen tool like this. What the heck, I thought and ordered. well i love it! I have given one to other family members and we all enjoy using it. I use a lot of avocados in salads so this is just perfect for me - saves time.

I rarely, if ever, write reviews but this one really needed it. A full metal avocado cutter should only be able to do one thing without breaking: cutting an avocado. Avocado is soft, right? It broke on the second use. In this case, slicing each avocado cost me more than six dollars. Don't buy this!

I was so excited to get it. Day 1 everything worked fine - lightly scooped/chopped. Broke on day 2. The weld point is very small considering that for proper use it requires angular pressure. Great concept, the design needs improvement for this particular slicer.
