Well done! in Saw Blades, Parts & Accessories

Well made, clean straight cuts! I recycled galvanized steel for the roof of a 25 year old building that was over 20 years thick! So yes, it worked for plunge cutting too / it's a dangerous technique! Don't try to make deep cuts in your materials until you understand/what you're holding! Cuts steel! Eye protection is a must and a clear face mask is highly recommended!

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • No instructions

Not worth the money

Bought this to use in my miter saw. I made sure I got a metal blade that matched the speed of rotation and what I was cutting, which was 16 gauge square pipe. This blade made a big cut and then began to sink. Hardly passed the 4th cut, the deed was done. Pretty stupid. For about double the money you would pay for this blade, save yourself the hassle and buy a cheap saw with a grinding blade and you'll get a lot more.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Out of style

Worked like a charm on sheet metal

The whole purpose of buying this blade was to cut a water heater in half to throw in the trash. It worked like a charm! I had a saw (cheap from Harbor Freight) and it was a painful waste of time and money that will come in handy for other future projects. My recommendation is that it cuts sheet metal fast and fast, but isn't sure about other metals. Just follow the instructions (especially the safety precautions). don't hurt yourself; It is not worth.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Repair

Saws, Parts & Accessories

Blade cuts very well very cleanly very little deburring required but after 25-30 cuts of 2 inch .065 wall stainless steel pipe it is difficult to cut through at first on the End with visibly worn teeth, but the blade eventually gets stuck. Stainless steel is very hard so I suspect you could easily get more cuts with softer metals, very happy with the blade. Got about as many cuts as I thought I would, with the material I worked with I will be buying again.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Something else

Discontinued after two cuts in steel pipe (2mm thick)

Teeth no longer sharpen after two cuts in steel pipe (2mm thick). On the third cut, it makes a lot of noise with overheated teeth. Don't know what went wrong, the hardness/strength of the materials isn't good enough? or misleading product specifications. Encourage the manufacturer to take it seriously and improve it without wasting energy, money or customer time. I'm sorry, I have to return the item immediately.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Safety

Confound. Will not cut steel pipe or bolts more than once.

Although this blade was designed to cut steel, it will not cut tough steel more than once. While the blade feels solid (e.g. teeth don't break, don't warp, good thorn), it's not worth spending money on if you're looking for long-term use. Advertising is misleading. The description on the Amazon page says it will cut "steel roofing, metal siding, steel tubing, steel studs". The back of the box says it is not to be used to cut metal. The blade itself is marked "for cutting mild steel, sheet metal
