Disappointing Pedal Upgrade

I purchased these pedals hoping to add a sleek look to my car's interior, but found them to be lacking in both aesthetics and functionality. My analysis of this product showed that the quality of the materials used was subpar, and while they were easy to install, they tended to slip under my feet while driving. The only positive aspect was the brushed aluminum finish, but that was not enough to outweigh the overall disappointment. Save your money for a better automotive accessory.

Pros
  • Sleek brushed aluminum finish
Cons
  • Poor quality materials and slippery during use.

Not worth your time or money

The metal screws are soft metal and easy to strip. The mounting system is also poorly designed. If your base plate is small, then the mounting brackets are not sufficient for a secure and stable hold. Also, the brackets have wings that protrude beyond the pedal, so your foot sometimes gets caught on the pedal. I tried many configurations and even reached out to the ASE mechanic.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Security

Looks cool but cheap and flimsy

You will receive brackets, screws and a nut. The nut is not a lock nut and does not have a lock washer. There is also no Loctite coating on the screw. This tells you directly that they are not suitable for the car and indicates the level of cheapness. I was unable to securely attach these brackets to my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Once you've secured them, 1 more turn and the strut will disengage from the pedal. If you put them on, they keep falling. They look cool but I don't think they won't fall…

Pros
  • Housing
Cons
  • Not sure
