Just what you need at half the price.

Works great. Since it's not a well-known brand, it works exactly as you would expect. Ideal for external storage of most files and the like. Fast enough to format for game consoles for extra space.

Exactly what was advertised

Excellent product for what was advertised. I'm using a Mac and the device was ready to use, no further formatting was required. The cable is a little short, but I assume that's the standard for any external hard drive today. No memory display problems. I got 500GB and that's what my computer showed as available. To be honest I was very pleased with how easy everything was. PD The cover design is very nice and doesn't look like a cheap print, which made me very happy!

Not formatted for Mac and no instructions

The ad says it is compatible with Mac but when the device arrived the instructions said it was for Windows and when I connected it to the Mac it happened Nothing. So I had to research and figure out how to format it for Mac. But the device didn't allow me to drag and drop everything from the laptop to an external drive in one motion. I had to manually drag and drop folders, which took quite a bit of time. The device should come with instructions on how to reformat for Mac, as well asโ€ฆ
