Great product for what it was advertised. I'm using a Mac and the device was ready to use, no further formatting was required. The cable is a little short, but I think that's the standard for any external hard drive these days. No memory display problems. I got 500GB and that's what my computer showed as available. To be honest I was very pleased with how easy everything was. PD The cover design is very nice and doesn't look like a cheap print, which made me very happy!
