🎨 DIY Paint by Numbers: Forest Canvas Oil Painting Kit for Kids & Adults - 16" W x 20" L - Acrylic Pigment Review

Color area size by numbers is SMALL. I was so excited about this picture, but I'm not interested in squinting this picture. I am so disappointed! It's also an exercise in frustration because tiny areas are hard to paint with the brushes sent, which is good but not great. Sad. I wanted to love this one. CANVAS NOT ON A FRAME. Wrinkles in the canvas must be steam removed prior to painting. If there is another way to remove the wrinkles please let me know!

This is a decent paint project for now. You will receive a small color image of what you are drawing, a numbered canvas to draw on, and a sheet of paper with numbered areas. There are three brushes in the set, two for finer detailing and detailing to attach the finished project to the wall after you're done. There is a lot of fine detail to paint on and some colors are very close in hue so it's a bit tricky but the brushes they provide are good for finer detail.

This set contains a numbered canvas, paints, brushes, a small picture and a canvas description page. It's a beautiful picture, but it will take time. Some areas are very small, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have vision problems or if you don't like drawing tiny areas. It comes with basic brushes. I don't use them. Everything shown in the photo was included but there were no ironing instructions. I checked online and found you need an iron with a steam setting on the back of the canvas. I only gave 3 stars because most of the cells numbered "11" were missing a 1. So they all looked like a "1". Very confusing. I had to look at the master sheet they send you to see how the gaps are supposed to be 11 vs 1 for each individual 1 or 11 gap, which are a lot of tiny gaps. I felt there was a lack of quality…

The canvas comes folded so you can smooth or frame it before you start painting. It doesn't really have instructions, just a smaller piece of paper with a numbered grid on it. However, it's very simple: take the corresponding paint color on the area with the same number on the canvas. It also comes with a small picture of what you want the finished painting to look like. This is my third paint by number set for adults. It is painted on primed canvas, like a "real" piece of art. The canvas needs to be ironed before beginning as it will be shipped folded. And before hanging, the wooden frame must be stretched. You'll have to spend a few bucks on artist brushes because these kits come with cheap toy brushes. I'm really scared of colors because the pots are very small and the canvas is very big. Incredible details and tiny patches of color are very time consuming…
