it was poorly made I've used it a couple of times to seal pork it doesn't suck I had to disassemble it and I found that the connecting rod until the piston broke, i rotated the rod piston to another designated hole, reassembled, used a few times, and it lost suction again. had to drive into town and buy a brand from food saver to get the job done, i wouldn't recommend this sealer to anyone

I was very happy with this machine and opened the instructions. In the picture of the machines, where arrows indicate the composition of each part, there is an arrow pointing to #9. But there is no description for this #. Suppose it's easy to say it works, but there's nothing. there is no light Does not heat up and does not absorb. I returned the first item via Revain as NutriChef was down (even Revain couldn't reach them) and the replacement was on (1 had a short to the power button) but this one did it was no heat sealing function. ENOUGH! Come back and try a different brand. I may have only received 2 lemons, but due to the company's lack of customer service and the possibility of 2 defective units, I'm done with Nutrichef.
